The Playstation 3 (PS3) is a home video game console, developed by Sony. It was released in Japan on 11 November 2006, in North America on 17 November that year and in the PAL Region on 23 March 2007.

The console was discontinued in New Zealand on 29 September 2015, in Europe and Australasia in March 2016, in North America in October the same year and in Japan on 29 May 2017.
